Devontae Matariki

Why do we celebrate Matariki? We celebrate it because it represents 7 stars. It also is the maori New year. We also celebrate it because it's a special day for moari people, they have gatherings to have like a feed.

Should New Zealand celebrate this? Why? New should celebrate this because back in the days moari tribes and chiefs ruled these lands and because New Zealand is known to have to most moari people around the world. We should also celebrate this because to pay respects.

What's up on Matariki? In the sky there's stars that represents the seven sisters Names are Tupu-ā-nuku, Tupu-ā-rangi, Waipuna Rangi, Waitī, Waitā, and Ururangi.
