Devontae myths and legends

 so today we were learning about what legends and myths are and today u found out a lot of things i found out that legends are traditionalist story and that myths has manly gods in it

Over the holidays   i went on a road trip down to tokoroa so met some family and to go there for a birthday party my little cousin's birthday party she turnt five years old the party was alright but i guess it was more of a little kid party.

While we were waiting for the party to finish we went somewhere to make the day more fun so we went  for a drive through rotoroa for about 30 minutes then came back  to pick up my other little cousin because she was still there when we went for a drive through rotoroa.

When we picked her up we went on our way to the pools to go for a swim. Which made the day more and more fun than when we finished getting out of the pools. We went to McDonald's to have a feed before we went and said our goodbyes to our families. When we finished saying all our goodbyes we were on our way back home.

When we were on our way back home we stopped at an ice cream shop because it was pretty hot on the day we came home. When we went for our stop we had some ice cream. I wasn't sure where but it was delicious better than the ones in Auckland not gonna lie i reckon it had more flavour.

When we arrived at home we couldn't wait to go and stretch our legs because we had sat in our truck  for about two to three hours straight. It was challenging but we got through it. When we got out of our truck it felt nice but then when we finished I got pins and needles.

Welcome Back To Term 3 

On the 20th of July our school hosted a immersion assembly.

What is this about ? This is about finding out on what your going learn about this term its like something that excites you about what your going to learn about. 

Team 1 said that they were going to learn about what out children in other country have for lunch. they also said that they were going to explore the world in there class room. all of team one are going to discover round more like lunch. 

Team 2  talked about like traveling around new Zealand so first they went to queens town they also  navigated how to get to queens town from Auckland they said first you had to go through Rotorua then You had to go through ever other place to find your location. then they went around the world.

Team 3 talked about traveling a round special land marks around the world So the first one they went to was Australia opera house then next they went to the great \wall of china. they also went to rio de janeiro and went to look around. 

Team 4 explained about what time of food they could eat from around the world like sushi is originally from japan but it get shipped around the world the different country's. and burritos are from the middle eat turkey i am not sure where that is placed.

Team 5 talked about the myth sina and the eel so dis term we are learning about myths and legends over all its all about myths legends good myths and legends.

My over all message about why i like this. i liked it because it entertained me quite a lot it made me wonder why we would learn different types of things.
