Mr Burt Supprise

This morning we celebrated because our principal Mr Burt got a queen's honor for being helpful in the environment. He also helped families when they were struggling. One camp he was very sick but he still made it work it always makes things work that's why he always tries to make something work.





He's a very hard working man because all he does is trys to make us happy. He never has attention. That's what today we gave him a song and haka, today was a special day for him. I think we caught him by surprise.

Once upon a time there was four boys named jack,bob,mike,Jake. One day they decided to go on a stroll in the woods then suddenly there was something that caught their eye so they rode closer to see what it was. First they tried to to open it but then it was locked by the time they found the key it would be to dark so then they went home to have a rest then the next day they went back to the spot and started to search for the key. Next they thought they found the key but it was a stick shaped as a key they tried it but it didnt work because it was shaped differently compared to the normal input key. They were looking for ages they tried and tried they thought nothing would work but then they went to look in a different area. They had a look under rocks and inside trees and suddenly they found it next they went to look for the door they found it, it worked then they went to open it they wondered what was behind the door all it was, was all the instruments anyone could ever have or dreamed about they looked for their favorite instrument and they found them one each so they decided to make a band it worked successfully but then they got bored of it so then they thought they would sell it for some prophets and guess what it worked they thought it was gonna be a total failure but when they earnt there prophets they thought about other things.  Well  it turns out they had a good rest of there week finding a good amount of things to sell so they can sell it for prophet to buy them things they need i guess sometimes it can work.  So today me and a couple mates went to go do a cool challenge it was about taha tinana is about fitness and hygiene so today er had to put our left or tight foot on our other nee and hold it for one minute but me and my mates did it for one minute and 15 seconds its was pretty hard but we got through it mind the talk it just us trying not to fall over !!

Taha Wairua - Spiritual Wellbeing

Today for our study on Te Whae Tapa Wha we are looking at Taha Wairua .

This is to do with our spiritual wellbeing . what we believe in. There are many ways people show taha wairua. we talk about this and came up with this list.

- People pray in public and in private

- Some people dress a certain way to show their spiritual well being - what they believe in.

- Read and live by set of guidelines: Bible, Quran etc

- Signs or symbols made with their hands, in jewelry, clothing etc

today our activity was to create a card to bless another person from our bubble, to make their spiritual their taha wairua stronger. going on i made a card for someone special in my family my Aunty its to lift he taha wairua witch it Spiritual heath.

- The way i felt when i stepped right into the school gate? I felt Nervous because I thought it would be a bit normal at least but I guess it felt a bit weird.😀





- When I stepped out of the house how did I feel? I felt relieved I could leave the house to be honest it was like yay! Out of the house for once it was like i could breathe again.🥳




- First Takeaway ( MC Donald), the way i felt was exciting because i have eaten it for a very long time say about 8 weeks that's 2 months inside not takeaways i was also craving it. 😋
